2017：VOLK RACING TE037 DURA
TE037 DURA is a forged wheel made of A7075 (extra super duralumin). It is the grand culmination of Ray’s forging technology to achieve the ultimate light-weight, strength, and stiffness. This impressive model of aluminum wheel with a hole in each spoke revolutionizes both the performance and design of wheels.
2017：VOLK RACING TE37 SAGA
The latest model of TE37 that fully embodies the camber stiffness theory. It marks the beginning of a new saga of TE37, which is now a household name for light and stiff wheels.
Born in Japan and trained in Nuremberg. Both the strength and stiffness were enhanced under a catchphrase to make “an unbeatable wheel over the next 10 years”. The universal design with original details has already been registered.
2007： Supplied for FIA Formula One (F-1)
Since 2007, VOLK RACING has been supplied to Williams, a leading F1 team. Each wheel was made from a single piece of forged magnesium alloy, which was originally developed and produced by Rays. The winning of the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix is still fresh in our minds.
Since its appearance in 2001, the model remains the lightest in the history of VOLK RACING. The model made a seminal and uninterrupted series of victories in gymkhana. Eight spokes are designed for four holes and 10 spokes for five holes.
The six-spoked wheel excellently disperses stress. The secret lies in the six windows of triangles with an angle of 60 degrees. Having a great strength combined with light weight, this tough wheel can handle every kind of ride from sports to endurance races. It remains the king of wheels thanks to its unfading performance over 20 years.
1991：Victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (the first victory by a Japanese car)
In 1991, after 13 earlier attempts, wheels by Rays helped a Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time. In this unforgettable victory in corporate history, Rays was remembered as a wheel manufacturer that excels at endurance racing. The car mounted wheels with forged magnesium disks and heat-treated rims made of 6000-series alloy.
The design of this pioneer of forged sports wheels with a three-piece structure was adopted by Group-C cars at their golden age. The spoke dimple not only achieved lighter weight, but also enchanted fans with its characteristic egg shape.
1986：VOLK RACING Gr.A (forged model was introduced in the same year)
MESH is an essential turning point in the history of the design of VOLK RACING. The model was developed simultaneously as the introduction of a 6500-ton forging press. The wheels were provided for many racing cars, including those participating in Group-A racing among commercially available cars. The forged front rim was produced with Alloy 6061.
The asymmetric pair of wheels flourished thanks to the idea and technology that still maintain the edge today. Examples are the monocoque structure for spokes and the air valve deployed at the center. The wheel won the Good Design Award from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in the early days of the awarding system.
Beside the achievement of light weight and great strength, this model assumed a mission to suppress the rotor temperature below 370 degrees, hence the wheel name. The basic design adopted 15 fins and a daring aero cover as standard features.
The three-piece structure satisfied the needs of sports cars to provide a rich line-up of products with various insets and sizes from 10-inch up to 18-inch x 13J, the largest back then. This is the legendary wheel that can call itself simply “Volk Racing”.
1979： The debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
In the golden age of single-piece wheels, Rays boldly chose to adopt a completely segmented three-piece structure to achieve lighter weight. This new style of Rays that marked the beginning of Volk MESH series was made possible by the advanced processing technology and assembly method.

Gram Lights brought the performance of cast wheels to the ultimate level and achieved an unprecedented feat to win five categories in a drift racing in 2015. It marked yet another history of our products that continue to lead a new era with diverse aspects of innovation.
2016： AZURE, the first series of Gram Lights
AZURE was released as the first series of Gram Lights that incorporated alluring dress-up factors without compromising the high performance. The series opens a new front of Gram Lights while targeting all sorts of sports activity vehicles (SAVs).
2013： Gram Lights 57FXX with electrodeposition coating
This model of Gram Lights brand adopted both RCF and machining at the same time. In addition, electrodeposition coating was adopted for the first time in this model.
2012： Participation in Formula-D USA
2010： Gram Light 57Ultimate with clear color painting
The 57Ultimate series drew attention with brilliant clear color painting, which brought clear color into fashion.
2008： Gram Lights 57Maximum Pro with titanium coating rim
The titanium coating on this eccentric wheel changes its color depending on the ambient light. The design takes advantage of the characteristics of a two-piece cast rim by Rays. This model also played an outstanding role in drift racing.
2008： Gram Lights 57D with fluorescent colors
Fluorescent colors were adopted following the example of 5/4S in 1990s. The model took drift racing by storm with eye-catching color and excellent performance.
2001： Participation in D1-GP

This first model of the Gram Lights brand marked the beginning of the history of high-performance cast wheels by Rays.

2010： VERSUS STRATAGIA VOUGE
The ultimately long silhouette defies the common sense of wheel designing. A pair of spokes facing diagonally across the center hub was designed as an integrated part in pursuit of “the luxurious appearance of a slightly bigger wheel” that everyone yearns for. True to the model name, Rays takes pride in the three-dimensional appearance imparted by complex combination of flat and curving surfaces with thin and sharp spokes that resemble vouges (or halberts).
2009： VERSUS STRATAGIA SERIES
ARPIONE, FRUSTA, SCUDO
The STRATAGIA series has an alluring, deep-chrome shine as an answer to black polished alloy wheels that used to be the mainstream back then. This core series of VERSUS continues to open a new chapter of history following ARPIONE, FRUSTA, and SCUDO.
GENOMA took the lead in fleshing out the twisted design, which provided the basis for the Black Label series. When straight design was the mainstream back in those days, this forward-thinking model adopted an organic design that still stand up well today.
1999： VERSUS CAMPIONATO SERIES SS6, SS7
The CAMPIONATO series brought new blood to VERSUS by remaining steadfast to the “monoharmonic concept” and “multi-reference design”. This series inspired today’s common practice to combine different designs (e.g., SS6 in the front and SS7 in the rear) or different round types (e.g., FACE 1 and FACE 2) for nuanced appearance.
1997： VERSUS TURISMO SERIES
SPADA, MODERNO, DORCE
The TOURISMO series eliminated typical mechanical lines of an industrial product to impart a softer and warmer form under the design concept of soft lines. The series defies the conventional ways wheels are presented. For instance, the monoblock wheel has a curling brand logo on the rim periphery. Different colors of decal are selected depending on colors of respective wheels.
1992： VERSUS SESTO TURISMO as the root of the brand
VERSUS was born as a dress-up brand that strikes a contrast with VOLK RACING, leading wheels by Rays devoted for sports.
■ HOMURA: Archive of innovative wheels
This premium brand pursued ultimate beauty and functionality by making the most of the casting technology boasted by Rays. It is the next standard reached by Rays in pursuit of beautiful yet daring shape befitting sports for grown-ups.
These large wheels from 18 to 22 inch in diameter are designed even for L-class SUVs, not to mention premium cars. They fit targets with a wide range of body sizes to impart a balanced proportion. The nine cross-spokes are designed to impart a silhouette that conjures HOMURA’s distinctive beauty and dynamism.
2011： HOMURA 2X7 as the root of the brand
The HOMURA brand made a debut with this seven cross-spoke design. The universal beauty and dynamism combined with functionally light weight are the culmination of Ray’s honest engagement with premium sports wheel.
